Theatre 99 is located at 280 Meeting Street above the Bicycle Shoppe. Walk to the back of the building and you will see the stairs to our entrance.
Theatre 99 has a bar with beer, wine and sodas. It is a non-smoking venue.
Shows are typically rated PG-13, but since it is based on audience suggestion, you never know what is going to happen. Shows are not appropriate for kids under 11 years old. Most shows contain adult language.
There are parking lots and garages on George and Wentworth Streets. There are lots of metered spaces behind the Gaillard Auditorium on George Street. We recommend NOT parking in the 1 hour residential spaces...you'll get towed or get a $45 ticket (definitely not worth it). Hope to see you at the shows!

Mostly True Tales from Sara Benincasa 10:00 PM Sara Benincasa's one-woman show combines the sharp hilarity that's made her a hit on the web with the nutty magnetism that's made her a rising star in the NY alternative comedy scene. Saturday, July 18 STAND UP WITH KENNY Z 10:00 PM Kenny Zimlinghaus (aka Kenny Z) is a regular at the Charleston Comedy Festival and former Chucktown resident. Zimlinghaus is remembered best among locals as a wise-crackin' stand-up comedian and radio morning show host. (He currently can be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio's "Cosmo Radio" ch 111 and XM162). The Charleston City Paper says "Kenny Zimlinghaus has a shuffling and wry style that incongruously comes from a permanently smiling face and great skill in improvisation and left audiences ready for more".
